I was shooting for funny, missed horribly and landed flat on boring.

So shoot me: I'm tired and overworked, and my hair looks like I stuck it in an elecrical socket. I also happen to be a little nauseous, though I imagine that is because I managed to wolf down a bowl of noodle soup, two granola bars, some chips and a cookie. Two, if you count the pre-dinner cookie.

So, I managed to scrape up an "A" on my philosophy quiz: class average was low. So I take it back: plato, you aren't such an ass. Epicurus is the ass, as the question i got wrong was on epicurus. So what if it's fear that makes life not worth living?

And "the worst essay I've ever written in my whole life" turned out to be a b.
I have four essays to write and a midterm. aaaand life is busy.

I suppose it's time for an update. a REAL update.

I'm doing this when I SHOULD be writing a paper on democracy and religion, and how the two are completely incompatible, but that's okay.
And well, maybe not completely, but you don't get marks for wishy-washy opinions. THEN you get called ignorant. Or dumb. Ah yes, the stigma of dumb.

School
Let me whisk you away to a new place -- a place where pristine, green grass is always carefully manicured trimly. There is no stray garbage,as any piece of litter bursts spontaneously into flames, as does the litterer. The sunshine is benign, like someone smiling down, and in the fall the trees all burst gloriously into bright, vivid reds, oranges, and yellows, until they fade into a dull brown and fall off the tree. A man then comes by on a motorised leaf-picker-upper and drives in circles around the tree until they are all gone.
This beautiful campus is never sullied.
On sunny days, the good-looking students converge on the grass to tan and play frisbee and listen to wholesome, folksy music. The campus abounds with happy shouts and blissful, innocent camraderie.
