Ouch
Feeling more or less rejected. And not by him but by an ex-teacher(ina friend sense. stop thinking that. it's disgusting, really). : ( Him I'm just angry at. Why? 'Cause he's a jerk, and I'm allowed to be angry at jerks. No details until i reem him out later.
Kora, on the other hand is doing exactly what she's always dreamed about and going to art school....and digging her heels in. lol....talking to her last night she was unhappy, however i think that might have been exhaustion speaking. It's Rabbit, though, and she was born to draw, so I've got the utmost confidence in her...and so does my family. So there, rabbit. we're rooting for you.
My mother just told me something neat - that the program I'm going to be working on in South Africa is actually commissioned by the government - and I'm going into the public schools. LORDY I'm scared...yet so excited! I mean, I'm going to be teaching about self-respect and everything....and yeah! Making a REAL difference! Did you know that by 200?4? 4 million children in South Africa will be orphans? That is an extraordinarily depressing statistic. ANYHOW....i guess that's it. So here i sit, waiting for my dad to come and get me because apperantly i wasn't supposed to come into work today. :( This is day two of my not working.
*sighs*
ohhhh well. I'm off for now....Happy end of summer to all (and happy school...moving in to all of those to whom it applies! Most specifically Leslie, though.)
ta!
