So, I went to a concert last night. It was awesome, and I fell in love. Twice.
Not that kind of love, you sicko. The pure and innocent kind. The kind where if you were to ever concieve of having a threesome...it would be with the two people you saw there.
Believe it or not, it has absolutely nothing to do with twins of any sort.
The opener was a band I'd seen before - Idle Sons. They play a rocky, pop-y sort of thing that really moves. they're a handsome, marketable band. They went onstage and began to play and love struck me. I LOVE their guitarist. he has so much ENERGY. PIZAZZ (s'funny, because I typed pizzaz, first. I think I WOULD love him more if he had pizzaz.), and anything else you could think of that someone sexy would have.
They finished - were excellent - then Thornley went on. They have recently replaced their drummer and bassist with two amazingly hot men. I fell in love with the bassist. Picture longish, dark hair....with a touch of emo, a touch of rock and a touch of HOT. There's something just totally awesome about people who play good music.
(and for good measure, there is nothing good about emo people. Or rather, there is nothing good after the first fifteen minutes of emo people. They get so BORING so FAST. Ever notice that the bulk of them are in highschool? that's because nobody else cares. And people who are all rock are like KISS. Which is scary. Good music....but scary.) ANYHOW. It might have been the alcohol, but I think there was a connection. I think our souls might be destined to be one. I think -think we could be soul mates.
Then again, his name is Cale. Which is a little too out there for me.
Still. I'd hit it.
