He's gone
As I'm sure you all know, the Pope is dead. He died at 11:30 BC time. It's hard not to cry, knowing that another good man passes on. He was the only Pope I ever knew, and despite the fact that I'm a protestant it still felt like he was 'on my side', as foolish as that sounds. It was someone who could stand up for what he believed in and didn't give in to popular opinion: he was someone who KNEW. And it's comforting to know that someone KNOWS better than me.
But, as someone remarked that this is the whole point of his papacy -- to go and be with God. He's served God his whole life, and now he'll get the benefits.

You simply must be moved by this.

Anyhow. Goodbye Pope John Paul II. You'll be well missed.

Happy Easter!
I remember, back in my Kingston days I convinced Lisa that Fred, the easter bunny used a trampoline to get into my window. I helped him hand out eggs and then he tied me up so I didn't follow him.
She believed me. Even though when she came to get me up I was in no way tied, she believed me. I can't remember why I made it up...and furthermore why I named him Fred and made him such a jerk. I think i had/have issues.
