so, the training has officially begun, and i am clammish in my happiness. I sat at a table with three other girls and a guy (who was sick and rather annoying)and we listened to the general manager speak. it was thrilling, enthralling and two and a half hours. i sat. in a cold "ballroom", which had been converted to a joyous conference room. woo.
But in all honesty, it was fun. i got an apron (a REAL LONG, WHITE apron), a corkscrew, a shirt, a tie, two notepads and...something else i think.

tomorrow i get a break from this hard day of work. whew. thank God. I'm exhausted.

so, i got a job. i am now, officially, a dinner server at the keg restaurant in kingston, which is opening up soon. my training includes wine tasting and steak eating. Life, right now, is good.
