Are you listening? Can you hear me?
Ahhh Matchbox Twenty. They simply rule.
I'm actually rather looking forward to going away: I need the break from the computer, as sad as that sounds. I need some space to wrap my head around a few things. When I get home i should be more sparkly than ever--! :D
I broke a nail. You know, I never used to believe people when they wept and wailed when they broke a nail -- I always attributed it to mere wimpishness. As someone who has almost joined the non-nailbiting crowd, I can now say that having the fingernail on your little finger torn off -- that it hurts like a mother. My sympathies to all of you who have gone through the same thing.
Something doesn't feel right today. I'm going to try to relate it to the fact that I am absolutely exhausted...but something feels off, you know? Like something somewhere isn't where/how it should be. I felt like this yesterday, too, for about an hour and a half. Seeing as it DOES go away, I'm going to assume it's nothing.
The Americans arrived yesterday, along with Leanne. Leanne is very vibrant. SHe seems wonderful. I behaved like a vat of strawberry jello, though. I was absolutely exhausted. I collapsed into bed around 8:30, turned my light out one hour after that...and managed to sleep all the way through the night. Or, almost all the way through the night. I felt remarkably disoriented when I woke up. STILL feel disoriented. The Americans seem nice -- though I've only met one of them. And I was talking ot Jake online at the time. She's from Ohio.
My hands are very dry. i wish i had some of that lavendar lotion here at work.
[sighs] I've got to start compiling a list of the stuff i bought for customs. THAT'S gonna take awhile. Y'all had better be DAMN grateful for everything i bring you. Especially since i have to go through customs in montreal.
Anyhow. I think that's it for now. And for ten days!
Ta for now
