I made 200 dollars last night. After tip out.

I also have a cyst in my ear, which i can't seem to get out. it's interfering with my earrings.

tis very windy here today. All the trees are changing and the wind whips them up and sends them hurtling around. it's fun -- like being attacked by butterflies. Except the leaves kind of sting.

Last night the management bought all the dinner servers a drink after work, because we worked our ASSES off. I had a glass of Cave Spring off-dry riesling. It is AMAZING: go out and buy a bottle. and drink it all. Of course, after having been at work since 5 (it was 12), i had nothing in my tummy. It all went -- rather promptly -- to my head. But last night WAS a super great night. It reminded me that yes, i am a good waitress. Yes, i am capable.

Life is good right now. I like living where I do, working where I do. I like being responsible to myself and for myself. I like the way everything is working out for me. At least, right now i do.

Right now i am very tired: my calves are exhausted (we went on a wait at 6 last night and didn't get off it for almost four hours) and i am just tired through and through. But tonight it's the same old cycle -- back to the sweat shop (heh) for another night's work. I'm glad to work. I like working sundays. People are usually friendlier and less demanding. Hopefully it won't be insanely busy. But at the very latest I will be off at Ten. So yay me. Hopefully I will do well.
