Four Days and Counting...
Four days until I jump on a plane to South Africa. I can't wait to go... except that somehow I'm going to London for two days (sunday and monday) and am really nervous about getting there. With all my luggage and not having ANY clue as to where I'm going. Nick, on the other hand, spent a good twenty minutes telling me everything five or six times. I understand I'm not a complete idiot...
Ugh. Today I'm really tired. We watched the Princess Diaries last night, and while I love the movie (the last scene made me all full of sighs) I probably should have gone to bed instead.
Plymouth
Plymouth was a hole (at least, where i was). On the side of the church someone had painted "this is a devil's house" which amused me greatly. The inside was nice, and the hotel was great. i love having my own hotel room. Today i go and get to be escorted around by 17 year old girls...and then...sleep. I hate being this tired...but i guess i can't help it. Who knows. Maybe i'll take lunch downstairs today...
I love the UK countryside. It's so picturesque, and so different from anything i know. : ) It was gloriously sunny on our days to and from Plymouth, so i got to see so MUCH...(including this guy who is sitting on top of the Tamar bridge protesting something or other) But yeah. Plymout was slummy. Then again, all i got to see was a church, bowling alley and a bar. So it's not like I've 'done it all' and people tell me it's got some 'posh' areas.
Teenagers here are saying the word 'lush'. Like "that's so lush" = "that's so great". I don't know if i like the word all that much...
huh.
Anyhow, enough for now.
