Me: Hey, Mom. Look at this - according to this book, i was a gifted child!
Mom: We knew that. You spoke in full sentences before you were two years old. That's why dad got angry when you didn't get straight A's.
Me:...so you...knew? Why didn't you tell me?
Mom: We didn't want you to get all high on yourself. Besidesm what good did it do you?
Me:...oh. Is Lisa gifted?
Mom:...ahh...well, she's on the higher side of normal.
Me: So no?
Mom Well.....go back to work.
