...which is actually ennetation, but I forgot how to spell it for a moment. It was ridiculously easy. So I spent awhile picking out a template....(and yes, i KNOW it doesn't match, but i got so sick of looking at them i grabbed this one. It's cute: i like it.)
Yesterday
After getting home from work (slightly soggy and worried - i mean, how often does one see a car that smashed into a giant cement pillar? It was unpleasant, to say the least) i open the door AND...mom has left a message saying that she locked herself out of her car. And i had to go rescue her. I did, though she had climbed in through the trunk by the time i got there. Resourceful, ne?
Then I go into the backyard only to find itmoderately flooded. Seriously - in the five years I have lived there i have never seen the backyard flood. Oh well - anybody who tries to cut through the backyard now is in for a serious surprise.
Bet all the spiders are gone.
It's 9:40. Is it pathetic when you spend your days counting down to when you get to leave? I'm saving up for South Africa/University so it's not like it's entirely in vain. yay university. i'm looking forward to it. One of the ladies here - her son works in the admissions dept. Not that it'll give me an 'in' but at least i can ask him many, many questions. For I am ignorant in the way of post-secondary schooling. I'm debating - UBC or Trinity? I'm more betting on Trinity - if only because the class sizes are smaller. I even know my majors. No sciences for Sargwa!
Office is oddly silent...
Anyhow. I guess that's it for now. Can't promise more but chances areI'llbe back, bored out of my skull, around two.
ever sing that song and the rains came down/and the floods came up(repeat 3X) ...but the house on the rock stood firm. Ahh childhood. I guess you had to be there.
